Abitalia South Coast opened their Poole studio in October 2014. Due to the high demand for our interior design services and products, we are looking to expand our team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about design - regardless if it is architecture, interiors, graphic or web design. The key is to be genuinely interested in design and posses a desire to learn. Due the nature of the work, you must be professional in how you present yourself, including composing emails and have an excellent telephone manner.
The job will involve being studio based Tuesday - Saturday (two Saturdays a month). The primary purpose of the role is to handle enquires, client requests, scheduling and ordering. In addition you will be trained on how to upload new products to our website, to create unique content for blog posts and produce copy for editorials and advertising. In time, as your product and technical knowledge increases, you will be involved in design and preparation of technical drawings.
In terms of education, a good set of GSCE results (or EU equivalent) especially in Maths and English are required. Further education is welcome, though not essential. You will receive training in all areas, including Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and InDesign. Additional programs required to fulfil the role will also be taught if required, such as SketchUp.
The full time position is initially for 3 months, with the opportunity to extend this to a permanent contract. We believe this role ideally suited for those seeking first-time work and/or industry experience.
Submissions should only be via email to email@example.com. CV's are welcome, though aren't essential, rather a well thought-out email explaining why you are suited for the role is preferred. Once we have contacted you for an informal telephone interview, you will be invited to attend an interview at our studio in Poole. Applications will only be considered until 31st July 2015.
