Beginning of April, IKEA took over a 3,500-square-metre warehouse in the Lambrate district in Milan which we we're lucky enough to see. The warehouse inhabited a variety of their new and existing products.
The festival was laid out into four separate areas to showcase and reflect the brand's view and outlook.
Soft spot area - Used to relax in
Room sets - Created by special guest stylists
Workshop area - Swedish synthesiser company 'Teenage Engineering' hosted a collaborative digital workshop
Food area - Which served an Italian take on Swedish Meatballs as well as drinks, coffee and cake.
“People want to slow down and live more sustainably in homes where they are able to relax and feel calm,” the designers explained in a press statement. “That’s what we feel too, and have strived to visualize in our living rooms.”
