Lights are a huge part of interior design - not only do they illuminate spaces but they reflect our individual style. There we're many lighting brands at Salone del Mobile this year, as well as many creative designers.
Lighting is always leading the way in the interior design industry, since we recently went to Milan we have put together a blog post featuring a couple of the popular collections.
This light is the 84 by Bocci, a white glass moil is placed into a copper mesh basket and plunged into hot clear glass. Air is then blown to gently push the white glass through the mesh, this creates the material effect on the glass. It's a very unique light because every one comes out different. Some might have more folds than others. Suspended in a group will create a gorgeous atmosphere and give a warm glow to a room. Visit our website to see other Bocci lighting like the 84.
Davide Groppi are a Italian company and create products with a minimal yet effective approach. This is the Moon light, it was designed with the idea of bringing the moon home. It's a beautiful light and we saw it everywhere at the Milan Fair - it was a very popular piece on many of the stands.
This light is the Valentine Flat Suspended designed by Marcel Wanders. 'A magic mirror and the power of crystals transform a simple shell into an endless light bouquet of flowers.' It looked stunning hung from the ceiling of Moooi's Milan showroom; that we we're lucky enough to see. The light is available in Gold and Chrome.
For more information on lighting please contact one of our designers or pop into our showroom; where we currently have on display Moooi's Heracleum light and Secto's Octo 4240.
We are also hoping to soon have Brokis's Balloon lamp's on display very soon.
